La integración de las empresas chinas en la cadena de valor del sector de automoción europeo Oportunidades de colaboración

Resumen

China es actualmente el mayor productor, consumidor y exportador de vehículos eléctricos del mundo, controlando gran parte de la cadena de valor que abarca desde la extracción y procesado de los minerales críticos, como el litio, cobalto y níquel, hasta la fabricación de baterías y sus componentes. China es, por tanto, un actor ineludible con el que es necesario competir y cooperar para que contribuya de forma constructiva y pragmática al proceso de transición de la industria de automoción española, incentivando la localización de nueva actividad productiva en territorio europeo, generadora de actividad, puestos de trabajo, inversión en I+D e innovación. Para ello es necesario definir una estrategia que permita integrar la inversión china en la cadena de valor del vehículo eléctrico, estableciendo un marco jurídico que garantice un terreno de juego equilibrado y promuevan una transición del sector social y medioambientalmente sostenible.
