La nueva geopolítica y la reinterpretación de las interdependencias económicas: ¿qué papel pueden jugar las políticas europeas?

Resumen

En la última década, la relevancia creciente de diversos factores geopolíticos en las decisiones económicas está introduciendo tensiones en el actual marco de relaciones internacionales multilaterales. Más recientemente, la invasión de Ucrania ha revelado de forma clara cómo la elevada interconexión económica y financiera de la Unión Europea (UE) con el resto del mundo puede conllevar vulnerabilidades. En este artículo se analizan estas interdependencias, y se discute el papel que pueden jugar las políticas económicas para mitigar las vulnerabilidades derivadas de estas.
