La apuesta europea por la política industrial

Resumen

En este artículo se analiza el desafío que supone la reindustrialización para los países de la UE, destacando sus exigencias e implicaciones. Asimismo, se explican las razones por las que no cabe esperar que la relocalización de empresas motivada por el incremento de los riesgos medioambientales, sanitarios o geopolíticos pueda contribuir de forma significativa a ese fin. Como consecuencia, se destaca el nuevo e importante papel que debe otorgarse a la política industrial, en un marco de reforzamiento de los recursos y capacidades de las Administraciones públicas y de intensa cooperación público-privada. Se señalan, así mismo, sus principales objetivos y se examinan aquellas parcelas claves que reclaman una mayor ambición y una mejor definición.
