La inteligencia artificial como motor de innovación en el turismo: startups, capital riesgo y transformación digital

Resumen

El turismo, como motor clave de crecimiento económico y empleo, enfrenta importantes desafíos en un contexto de transformación digital acelerada. En este marco, la inteligencia artificial (IA) surge como un recurso estratégico capaz de transformar el sector, optimizando procesos, personalizando experiencias y redefiniendo la interacción entre turistas y destinos. Este artículo analiza el contexto innovador turístico en España, específicamente en materia de IA, tomando la inversión de capital riesgo como el indicador más relevante. Con ello, se observa que España debe impulsar una estrategia integral en materia de innovación de vanguardia, ya que lograr el liderazgo específico en un sector sin acompañarse de un contexto adecuado es realmente difícil. Ni siquiera en una industria en la que somos tan competitivos.
