Relevance of the Regulation of the Digital Services for the audiovisual regulatory authorities

Abstract

This article analyzes the most relevant aspects of the proposed Regulation of the Digital Services Act (DSA) from the perspective of independent regulators of audiovisual media; including a series of reflections and suggestions made by the European Regulators Group for Audiovisual Media Services (ERGA) regarding the new regulatory framework and the role of regulatory bodies in the application of the Regulation.
