Conflictos y tensiones en la transición hacia una nueva economía y geopolítica

Resumen

El desorden global actual y la compleja geopolítica que subyace al mismo son la consecuencia de la profunda transformación que está viviendo la sociedad actual que se materializa en conflictividad, enfrentamientos violentos y tensiones entre Estados. En este artículo se analizan las causas de estos conflictos, que constituyen costes de transición en el camino hacia un nuevo orden internacional, en una nueva fase de la globalización, unos costes que solo el reforzamiento de la democracia liberal y el rediseño de la arquitectura institucional internacional pueden llevar a buen puerto en aras de la convivencia pacífica y de la continuidad del progreso humano.
